During my worst Crohn’s flare, I got down to 36kg and the medications and treatments just weren't working. My body was shutting down, I was confined to a wheelchair and the agony seemed endless. After years of failed treatments, side effects, surgeries and hospital visits, my life got flipped upside down. Finally I got my life back, but it came at great cost.
